Fly With Me To Paris

My husband and I went for a quick weekend getaway to Paris at the beginning of December. Why Paris? Because Paris is our city, it’s where we exchanged our vows a year ago. Plus, my cousin, the sister that I never had, lives there. So we thought that we could spend some quality time with her.

As some might already know, I’m in love with the Parisian charm and the vibe you get in its streets, which is why I also planned a street-style photo-session during my stay.

I’ll be sharing with you below the 4 different looks that I shot:

1-The Biker:

It represents a big part of my personality. For me, the effortless vibe is the most interesting one in fashion. Below, I’m wearing a Balenciaga leather jacket, Saint Laurent biker boots, Topshop Jeans, Colette T-shirt, and Saint Laurent bag.

2- The Girl with the Cape:

I find capes so classy and elegant. They were here last season, this season, and I hope they’ll stay with us for some time! Below I’m wearing a Saint Laurent cape, Topshop Jeans, The Kooples shirt, See by Chloe ankle boots and Celine bag.

3- Flare Lovin’:

As I’ve already discussed in an earlier post on the denim trends, the flared jeans are a must have this season. Below, I’m wearing a Seven Jeans, a Saint Laurent vintage jacket and a Zara pair of heels and bag.

4- Paris Je T’aime:

Lastly, is a look, which gave me this ‘Parisian’ feel while preparing it: head to heels from Zara, with a fuchsia Celine trio bag to pump things up a bit!

Before I end this, and since I’m a proud foodie, I’m going to share with you my restaurants ritual every time I’m in Paris:

CALORIES ALERT!

Brunch

Chez Carette: If the weather is nice, you can sit on their terrace and enjoy the sun all while devouring their amazing scrambled eggs (with mushrooms or tomato sauce)

Café Renoma: A very rich brunch on Saturdays and Sundays located next to George V! If you happen to be there on a Sunday you’ll catch the buffet!

Lunch

Yeeels: Best Italian food that I have had! Try their Truffle Pizza.-

Le Ralph: Ralph Lauren’s Restaurant at Saint-Germain. You can sit in their very relaxing terrace for a Coffee and Dessert.

L’avenue: Kim and Kanye’s favorite. A Costes Restaurant.. You won’t be disappointed!

Dinner

Le 404: Excellent Morrocan restaurant- amazing food, décor, and a great vibe.

Yeeels: Best Italian food that I have had! Try their Truffle Pizza.

Osteria: A very small Italian restaurant. Their pastas are to die for!

Ferdi: a very small Bar Gourmet. Their burgers and Mac & Cheese are amazing. Plus, you’ll notice how friendly the waiters are. A great ambiance!

Miss Ko: Asian Fusion Food. The interior décor made by Philip Stark is astonishing!

Le chalet Savoyard: If you’re there in winter this restaurant has the most amazing “raclette” and Cheese Fondue ever! A very cozy setting.

If you’re heading to Paris anytime soon and you need any extra recommendations don’t hesitate to ask me!
